STAGE
is holding a series of 1 hour Creative Writing & Theatre
Workshops in the Kinning Park Complex on Thursdays starting
in August. Both Workshops are aimed, though not exclusively,
at people who are recovering from mental health illness and
requiring some creative focus in their lives.

The Workshops will be one hour each over fourteen weeks.

Weeks 1-10 will take in the processes of creative writing:
poetry,
short fiction and writing a play.

Weeks 5-14 will concentrate on acting and stage production
skills.
It
is preferred, but not necessary, that students participate both
workshops which will run one after the other
on the same day. This will enable you to take a collaborative
play script forward to possible production.
NB you need not participate in any public performance, simply
enjoy the creative processes.
